The Scott Shoob And Rav Shaul (Paul Sides) Connection

Scott Shoob of Beit Tefillah Productions, has now declared that the Messiah and New Testament are fictitious, as he denies that there is Scriptural justification for a Messiah.

I was searching Google for Scott Schubbe, as his son’s name is Schubbe, to find more teachings from him; and I ran across this connection to Paul Sides, who writes as Rav Shaul at SabbathCovenant.com

It appears that Scott uses the name Shoob in his ministry, but his real name is Schubbe; as Jennifer, Gina and Mitchell all spell it Schubbe.

Scott has read Rav Shaul’s books, and recommended them in 2015.

The reason that Scott recommended Rav Shaul’s books, was that Scott was teaching the same thing in his ‘Exit Babylon’ book series; that Messiah was 100% human and not deity.

Scott Shoob Messiah 100% human, not deity

This is very interesting, because both of them attract people who have come out of Christianity; and both of them teach false things about Messiah:

Rav Shaul, Paul Sides, of The Sabbath Covenant, is teaching that Messiah was 100% human and that He sinned; and when He became obedient, He became a god; and that we can do the same thing.

And now Scott Shoob, of Beit Tefillah Productions, is declaring that the Messiah of the New Testament is a fictitious character, who is based on the pagan gods of Babylon, Egypt, etc.

So it would seem that both of them are being used to deceive people who have come out of Christianity.

And isn’t that what HaSatan wants to do?  Deceive people about Scriptural truth?

Here’s a summary page of what Scott Shoob taught in this video series, which proves that what he is teaching is false.

  1. The messiah, Yahshua, Yeshua, Yahusha (im not going into proper name).
He followed the Torah. The Tanak wrote of him (Torah, Prophets, Writings).

The Hebrew messiah is not false in the B’rith. This non-sense about Jesus as Zeus and this that and the other is also non-sense. He is a Hebrew. He lived it, he fulfilled prophecy. The apostle Shaul (Paul), backed up everything the messiah said and did. If anyone states otherwise, does not know the Hebrew language, culture, idioms of the time.

I had someone try to teach me the nonsense that is going on here that the NT Jesus is a fake messiah! You are out of context. Christianity teaches things that are not so. Why? They are taught doctrines of men, doctrines of their denomination. Nuff said. Go reread the bible from the beginning, Genesis (Bereshit) and take notes, use a hebrew dictionary for starters.
This article bothers me. Making a claim that is an out right lie! I already was aware of the truth before ever finding Paul Sides site.

May the ruach hakodesh of YHVH teach the people that have been chosen. May are called but few are chosen! Why? Because yo don’t want to know the truth and live it like the messiah

I’m not clear about whether you’re condemning the teachings of Paul Sides and Scott Schoob, or supporting them; as you say that the article bothers you and that it makes a claim that is an out right lie. Can you clarify what bothers you about the article, and whether you support Paul Sides and/or Scott Schoob’s teachings, so that I understand? Thank you! Shalom!
