The Holy Trinity Deception

This Revelation 18:4 – Come Out Of Her study shows discusses the false concept of the Trinity.

This Bible study delves into the topic of the Scriptural relationship of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit.

Most of us have been taught that they form the Godhead, which has three equal parts, but let’s look at Scripture to understand the proper context of their relationship.

Don’t misunderstand the intent of the study; the Father, Son and Set-apart Spirit are all vital to our salvation; this study simply seeks to clarify their roles.

We will see that Scripture proclaims that: Yahuah the Father is the ONE true Elohim; The Son is subservient to the Father; The role of the Holy Spirit and the Father and the Son are one in thought and action, but not one in person.

Note: this study uses the Father and Son’s personal covenant names, Yahuah and Yahusha, which were removed from the King James and other Bible translations.  Using the proper names helps clarify their roles and relationship. Yahusha means Yahuah, the Father, Saves. Read The Names Of The Father And The Son

Let’s start with verses that people say prove the trinity.

This is where you will see how important it is to have the covenant name of the Father, instead of God or Lord.

In Deuteronomy 6:4 the King James says Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God is one LORD:

The ISR 98 clearly identifies the Father as Elohim, “Hear, O Israel: יהוה Yahuah our Elohim, יהוה Yahuah is one!

In James 2:19 the King James says Thou believest that there is one God; thou doest well: the devils also believe, and tremble.

You believe that Elohim is one. You do well. The demons also believe – and shudder! ISR 98

Mark 12:29 in the KJ says, And Jesus answered him, The first of all the commandments is, Hear, O Israel; The Lord our God is one Lord:

The ISR 98 clearly shows that Yahusha Messiah is proclaiming that Yahuah, the Father, is Elohim.  And יהושע Yahusha answered him, “The first of all the commands is, ‘Hear, O Israel, יהוה Yahuah our Elohim, יהוה Yahuah is one.”

These verses proclaim that there is one true Elohim/God, not many as the pagans believed.

And the scribe said to Him, “Well said, Teacher. You have spoken the truth, for there is one Elohim, and there is no other besides Him.” Mark 12:32

And when יהושע Yahusha saw that he answered wisely, He said to him, “You are not far from the reign of Elohim.” And after that no one was bold enough to question Him.” Mark 12:34

So then, concerning the eating of food offered to idols, we know that an idol is no matter at all in the world, and that there is no other Elohim but one. “For even if there are so-called mighty ones, whether in heaven or on earth – as there are many mighty ones and many masters” 1 Corinthians 8:4-5

one body and one Spirit, as you also were called in one expectation of your calling, one Master, one belief, one immersion, one Elohim and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all. Ephesians 4:4-6

You believe that Elohim is one. You do well. The demons also believe – and shudder! James 2:19

2 Peter 1:1 appears to proclaim Messiah as Elohim, but verse 2 provides clarification, that Peter is talking about Elohim and Yahusha.

Simon Peter, a servant and emissary of יהושע Yahusha Messiah, to those who have obtained a belief as precious as ours by the righteousness of our Elohim and Saviour יהושע Yahusha Messiah: Favour and peace be increased to you in the knowledge of Elohim and of יהושע Yahusha our Master, 2 Peter 1:1-2

The context of those verses is not to prove the trinity, but to proclaim that there is One true Elohim, as the pagans believe in many gods.

One of the primary verses that people cite to justify the trinity is 1 John 5:7-8.

In the King James it reads:

For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one. And there are three that bear witness in earth, the Spirit, and the water, and the blood: and these three agree in one

Here’s the problem.  Some manuscripts do not include all of 1 John 5:7

Comma Johannuem refers to the short clause in 1 John 5:7-8 in the Latin Vulgate (Catholic version).  It was then included in the Textus Receptus. The Comma Johannuem does not appear in the older Greek texts.

The more literal translation, the ISR 98, did not include the part of the text which is not found in all of the manuscripts.  It leaves out “the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one” part, because it is not in the manuscripts.

Verse 7 “Because there are three who bear witness:” Verse 8 “the Spirit, and the water, and the blood. And the three are in agreement.”

People also cite Matthew 28:19, which mentions all three.

Therefore, go and make taught ones of all the nations, immersing them in the Name of the Father and of the Son and of the Set-apart Spirit, ISR 98

Just because one verse mentions all three, does not declare that they are equal parts of the godhead.  It just means that all three play a role in our redemption.

The Father calls us, we are saved through His Son, and we are given the Father’s Spirit.

These verses declare to only baptize in Messiah’s name:

And Kĕpha (Peter) said to them, “Repent, and let each one of you be immersed in the Name of Yahusha Messiah for the forgiveness of sins. And you shall receive the gift of the Set-apart Spirit.” Acts 2:38

for He had not yet fallen on any of them, but they had only been immersed in the Name of the Master Yahusha.” Acts 8:16

And he commanded them to be immersed in the Name of Yahusha Messiah. Then they asked him to remain a few days.” Act 10:48

And Sha’ul (Paul) said, “Yoḥanan indeed immersed with an immersion of repentance, saying to the people that they should believe in the One who is coming after him, that is, in Messiah Yahusha.  And when they heard this, they were immersed in the Name of the Master Yahusha.” Act 19:4-5

Here are many verses which show that the Father and the Son are separate entities:

Who has gone up to the heavens and come down? Who has gathered the wind in His fists? Who has bound the waters in a garment? Who established all the ends of the earth? What is His Name, And what is His Son’s Name, If you know it? Proverbs 30:4

And at the ninth hour Yahusha cried out with a loud voice, saying, “Ěli, Ěli, lamah sheḇaqtani?” which is translated, “My Ěl (God, Elohim), My Ěl, why have You forsaken Me?” Mark 15:34

No one has ever seen Elohim. The only brought-forth Son, who is in the bosom of the Father, He did declare. John 1:18

For the Father judges no one, but has given all the judgment to the Son” John 5:22

For as the Father possesses life in Himself, so He gave also to the Son to possess life in Himself, and He has given Him authority also to do judgment, because He is the Son of Aḏam.” John 5:26-27

And we have believed, and we know that You are the Messiah, the Son of the living Elohim.” John 6:69

And this is everlasting life, that they should know You, the only true Elohim, and Yahusha Messiah whom You have sent.” John 17:3

Yahusha said to her, “Do not hold on to Me, for I have not yet ascended to My Father. But go to My brothers and say to them, ‘I am ascending to My Father and your Father, and to My Elohim and your Elohim.’ ” John 20:17

And said, Behold, I see the heavens opened, and the Son of man standing on the right hand of God.” Acts 7:56

one Elohim and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all.” Ephesians 4:6

We give thanks to the Elohim and Father of our Master Yahusha Messiah, praying always for you,” Colossians 1:3

For there is one Elohim, and one Mediator between Elohim and men, the Man Messiah Yahusha,”  Timothy 2:5

for us there is one Elohim, the Father, from whom all came and for whom we live, and one Master Yahusha Messiah, through whom all came and through whom we live.” 1 Corinthians 8:6

And I wish you to know that the head of every man is the Messiah, and the head of woman is the man, and the head of Messiah is Elohim.” 1 Corinthians 11:3

Blessed be the Elohim and Father of our Master Yahusha Messiah, the Father of compassion and Elohim of all comfort,” 2 Corinthians 1:3

Blessed be the Elohim and Father of our Master Yahusha Messiah, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenlies in Messiah… that the Elohim of our Master Yahusha Messiah, the Father of esteem, would give you a spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him,” Ephesians 1:3,17

Blessed be the Elohim and Father of our Master יהושע Yahusha Messiah, who according to His great compassion has caused us to be born again to a living expectation through the resurrection of יהושע Yahusha Messiah from the dead,” 1 Peter 1:3

Simon Peter, a servant and emissary of Yahusha Messiah, to those who have obtained a belief as precious as ours by the righteousness of OUR Elohim and Saviour Yahusha Messiah” 2 Peter 1:1-2

And no longer shall there be any curse, and the throne of Elohim and of the Lamb shall be in it, and His servants shall serve Him” Revelation 22:3

These verses that show the subservient nature of Yahusha to Yahuah, who is alone Elohim.

Again He went away, a second time, and prayed, saying, “O My Father, if it is impossible for this to pass unless I drink it, let Your desire be done.” Matthew 26:42

And יהושע Yahusha said to him, “Why do you call Me good? No one is good except One – Elohim.” Mark 10:18

And יהושע Yahusha answered him, “The first of all the commands is, ‘Hear, O Israel, יהוה Yahuah our Elohim, יהוה Yahuah is one.” Mark 12:29

Of Myself I am unable to do any matter. As I hear, I judge, and My judgment is righteous, because I do not seek My own desire, but the desire of the Father who sent Me.” John 5:30

So יהושע Yahusha said to them, “When you lift up the Son of Aḏam, then you shall know that I am He, and that I do none at all of Myself, but as My Father taught Me, these words I speak. And He who sent Me is with Me. The Father has not left Me alone, for I always do what pleases Him.” John 8:28-29

You heard that I said to you, ‘I am going away and I am coming to you.’ If you did love Me, you would have rejoiced that I said, ‘I am going to the Father,’ for My Father is greater than I.” John 14:28

“יהושע Yahusha said to her, “Do not hold on to Me, for I have not yet ascended to My Father. But go to My brothers and say to them, ‘I am ascending to My Father and your Father, and to My Elohim and your Elohim.’” John 20:17

and from יהושע Yahusha Messiah, the trustworthy witness, the first-born from the dead, and the ruler of the sovereigns of the earth. To Him who loved us and washed us from our sins in His own blood, and has made us sovereigns and priests to His Elohim and Father, to Him be esteem and rule forever and ever. Amĕn.” Revelation 1:56

He who overcomes, I shall make him a supporting post in the Dwelling Place of My Elohim, and he shall by no means go out. And I shall write on him the Name of My Elohim and the name of the city of My Elohim, the renewed Jerusalem, which comes down out of the heaven from My Elohim, and My renewed.” Revelation 3:12

These verses point to Messiah being present and active in creation:

“and to make all see how this secret is administered, which for ages past has been hidden in Elohim who created all through יהושע Yahusha Messiah” Ephesians 3:9  (Note: through ‘through Yahusha Messiah’ is missing is some manuscripts for this verse, it may have been added based on Colossians 1:16 and Hebrews 1:2)

who is the likeness of the invisible Elohim, the first-born of all creation. Because in Him were created all that are in the heavens and that are on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or rulerships or principalities or authorities – all have been created through Him and for Him. And He is before all, and in Him all hold together.” Colossians 1:15-17

Elohim, having of old spoken in many portions and many ways to the fathers by the prophets, has in these last days spoken to us by the Son, whom He has appointed heir of all, through whom also He made the ages,” Hebrews 1:1-2

And to the messenger of the assembly in Laodikeia write, ‘The Amĕn, the Trustworthy and True Witness, the beginning of the creation of Elohim, says this:” Revelation 3:14

It’s telling us that Messiah was the beginning of creation by Elohim. From Genesis to Revelation, the Scriptures proclaim that all was created through Messiah.

What is the role of the Holy Spirit?

There is no Scripture which declares that the Spirit of Elohim is 1/3rd of the godhead. Scripture never declares that it is equal to the Father in power.

Scripture does proclaim that the Spirit of the Father is sent to those who have a covenant relationship with Him through the Son.

Nevertheless I tell you the truth; It is expedient for you that I go away: for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send him unto you. John 16:7

“But when they deliver you up, do not worry about how or what you should speak. For it shall be given to you in that hour what you shall speak, for it is not you who speak, but the Spirit of your Father speaking in you.  Matthew 10:19-20

Now יהוה Yahuah is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of יהוה Yahuah is, there is freedom. 2 Corinthians 3:17

The Father and Son are one in thought and actions.

The following verses are used to say that the Father and the Son are one in person. However, they simply mean that they are one in thought and action; as a husband and wife are “one”, yet are still separate beings.

Therefore Yahusha responded and said to them, “Truly, truly, I say to you, the Son is able to do none at all by Himself, but only that which He sees the Father doing, because whatever He does, the Son also likewise does.“John 5:19

“I and My Father are one.” Again the Yehuḏim picked up stones to stone Him. John 10:30-31

If I do not do the works of My Father, do not believe Me; but if I do, though you do not believe Me, believe the works, so that you know and believe that the Father is in Me, and I in Him.” John 10:37-38

“Because I spoke not from Myself, but the Father who sent Me has given Me a command, what I should say and what I should speak.” John 12:49

And I am no more in the world, but these are in the world, and I come to You. Set-apart Father, guard them in Your Name which You have given Me, so that they might be one, as We are.” John 17:11

And I do not pray for these alone, but also for those believing in Me through their word, so that they all might be one, as You, Father, are in Me, and I in You, so that they too might be one in Us, so that the world might believe that You have sent Me. “And the esteem which You gave Me I have given them, so that they might be one as We are one, “I in them, and You in Me, so that they might be perfected into one, so that the world knows that You have sent Me, and have loved them as You have loved Me.” John 17:20-23

There is no Scriptural basis for the concept of the trinity; that the Father, Son and Holy Spirit are equal parts of a godhead.

If Messiah was the Father in the flesh, then the Father would have been tempted by sin, and would have died on the cross.

It would also make Messiah’s statements about the Father and His conversations with the Father, seem odd, as He would have basically been talking to Himself.

And it would mean that people have seen the Father, which is contrary to Scripture.

Scriptures only seem to be congruent when:

You see the Father as the most High God/Elohim;

Messiah as the Father’s first-born, thus He is deity, but He is separate and subservient to the Father;

That the world was created through them;

That Messiah is the image of the invisible Father, who came in the flesh to fulfill His Father’s will, to redeem His set apart people;

And that the (Holy) Spirit of the Father is given to those who have a covenant relationship with the Father through the Son.

Then Messiah’s statements about the Father and His conversations with the Father, seem very normal.

Then Messiah, who is a representation of the Father in the flesh, could be tempted by sin; and could die as the Passover Lamb, and be raised again by the Father.

The Father, Son and Set-apart Spirit are all vital to our salvation; and now hopefully we understand their unique relationship much better.

The Roman Deception

Tertullian, a Latin theologian is credited as being the first to use the Latin words ‘Trinity’ (Latin: Trinitas), ‘person’ and ‘substance’ when he wrote in the early 3rd century, to explain that the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit as ‘one in essence, not one in Person‘.

The concept of the trinity, of three equal parts of the Godhead, is a creation of the Roman Catholic Church, based on the trinity of pagan gods dating back to Babylon.

In 381 A.D., at the Council of Constantinople, the Trinity doctrine controversy was settled: “According to the discipline of the apostles, and the doctrine of the gospel, let us believe the sole deity of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost, under an equal majesty, and a pious Trinity…” Nicene Council

Emperor Constantine and the antichrist Roman Catholic Church are behind the false trinity doctrine.

Here is the Athanasian Creed, which has been used by Christian churches since the sixth century. It is the first creed in which the equality of the three persons of the Trinity is explicitly stated.

“The Father is God, the Son is God, and the Holy Spirit is God, and yet there are not three Gods but one God. So there is One Father, not Three Fathers; one Son, not Three Sons; One Holy Ghost, not Three Holy Ghosts. And in this Trinity none is afore or after Other, None is greater or less than Another, but the whole Three Persons are Co-eternal together, and Co-equal. So that in all things, as is aforesaid, the Unity in Trinity, and the Trinity in Unity, is to be worshipped. He therefore that will be saved, must thus think of the Trinity.” Catholic Encyclopedia

The Holy Trinity image

This is what the Roman Catholic Church teaches, that the Trinity is the very foundation of her whole dogmatic system.

And that is because she is a harlot church, whose teachings are based on the Babylonian Mysteries; thus her title, Mystery, Babylon the Great.
