Flat earther Nathan Roberts proclaimed on his FlatEarthDoctrine Facebook page:
Which is most profitable, walking with tzit-tzit tassels or walking in the Holy Spirit?
“But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law. And they that are Christ’s have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts. If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.” Galatians 5:22-25 KJV
Why does it have to be one or the other?
Cannot a person who is walking with the Ruach HaKodesh not wear Tzitzit tassels?
Are they doing it to earn salvation? Surely not!
Are they doing it because it reminds them them that they are set-apart people? Yes!
Did Messiah wear them? Yes
Should we not follow Messiah’s example? Yes!
Wearing Tzitzit tassels invites conversation about them, so that Scriptural truth can be shared.
I really don’t understand why Nathan Roberts has chosen to be so contentious towards people who strive to obey the commands of their Creator.
It’s definitely creating division in the flat earth community!
Nathan Roberts is also very confused about what Scripture proclaims about the shape of the earth, as he takes Bible verses out of context, to make them seem like they’re pointing to a flat earth.
