Scott Shoob Q&A For The New Testament Unveiled Video Question

Scott Shoob of Beit Tefillah Productions, has now declared that the Messiah and New Testament are fictitious, as he denies that there is Scriptural justification for a Messiah.

I was reading through the comments on the Scott Shoob ‘Q&A For The New Testament Unveiled
Videos’ YouTube page, and found that Cynthia Jones asked him,

“What about Daniel 9:25? It speaks of the messiah right there.”

I had previous asked him on Facebook and YouTube about Daniel 9:25-27, because they point to Messiah arriving in the 70th week of Daniel.

Scott Shoob of Beit Tefillah Productions answered her, saying,

“I covered that in the series. That verse is about King David, who is the “anointed Prince.” It has nothing to do with a “messiah.” Most bibles translate it that way to lead you to believe that it does.”

I commented on that explanation with,

“King David was dead when Daniel wrote the 70 weeks of Daniel prophecy; so it is not pointing to King David. I’ve listened to the whole series and did not hear you cover Daniel 9:25-27; which point to the promised Messiah appearing in the 70th week. It proclaims that His death in the middle of the 70th week would end the need for temple sacrifices. Who is it talking about?”

He may be confusing Daniel 9:25-27 with another passage, or he is deflecting because he doesn’t want to address it.

It will be interesting to see if he replies to my comment.

Here’s a summary page of what Scott Shoob taught in this video series, which proves that what he is teaching is false.
